    Bit-tech use Dedi's iirc :)

Personal hosting is via http://www.4-s.co.uk. Custom packages are available from them too, just drop then an email for a quote.

being that you're in america, most of the host people will suggest on here are not likely to be great value for you, and they'll just be a bit laggy for any friends over there...

i'd suggest going with someone like EV1Servers (if that's still their name, they seem to change it every week) decent value and american servers. Just for the love of smelly undies don't get one with windows installed.

You may wish to specify US ONLY as most people on this site are from the UK.

Oneseventeen and I both use Powweb. Reliable, easy configuration and a good price.

I got the free 1and1 deal 2 years ago, and it's pretty ok. it's not the best, but it's still good, and reliable

I've heard very good things about http://apisnetworks.com/ and http://dreamhost.com/ (<- except their business model is based on overselling)

    I strongly recomend me! :D

    I have a dedicated server.
what kind of stuff are you planning on hosting?
Do you have a domain name yet? If not, I highly recomend www.godaddy.com. Excellent customer service.
