Hey guys! Here we go for another project of casemodding to be displayed in the Campus Party Brazil, and this time in issue number 11! The theme of the project is going to be the series Westworld, which for those who do not know, tells a story of a technologically advanced future, and is happening in a theme park that simulates the old west, which is populated by androids synthetics that cater to the wishes of visitors! Enough talk and let's get to! I have to thank the support of the Cooler Master, Gigabyte and Seagate for trust in this new project! As a basis for the project, the case will be used Master Case 5 Pro by Cooler Master! At the moment I am not yet with him in hand, to show pictures and details, but as soon as I receive, I promise to do a mini personal pro review. Now without more presentations, and let's go to the project! As I'm still without the cabinet and without the hardware defined, I'm working on one of the parts of the project, which will be the logo android of the series in 3D on one of the sides, and to create the same, I decided to risk carving it in clay! It is my first experience with this type of work, but I talked to some friends who already know techniques and saw a lot of videos on youtube. I'm still working on it, missing some parts, making some details on the parts that are finished better, and after all, I pass the solvent to get a smoother finish on everything, and then make a silicone mold for the final model in resin. Here are the photos of the ongoing process. For those who still do not know me and want to check all my work can take a look at my site: www.samamba.com.br Hugs!
A few more photos, now with the modeling a little better. There are only a few details left and the face improved, which is kind of complicated to do.
I've never heard of World In Action, I went to google search and I believe it never arrived in Brazil. But the Vitruvian Man remembers the logo of the same Worldwest series.
News!!! The parts of the Cooler Master and Gigabyte but as long as they do not arrive, I'm playing with Arduino and some components, and using Mini Cyber (mini case with an Arduino) I programmed an RGB controller based on the buttons and effects of the Cooler Master RGB fan controller. Follow video with lighting in practice!
Thanks to who's following. And let's go the news !!! Santa Claus came early here, and brought some gifts! I already got the MasterLiquid and I started to do some tests, and I ended up finding that the RGB controller that comes with it also supports RGB led strip, the problem is that it only accepts 3 devices at a time... I have taken advantage of and already removed the original hoses of the same, as I will exchange for silicone hoses and use an external reservoir with opaque white fluid! I also took the opportunity to sanding and leaving opaque 10mm acrylic pieces that I will use to make a lighting effect on the fans of the case. I hope you like this little UP. Soon I intend to return with news and a mini review of the motherboard that Santa Claus brought me Christmas too!
I'm doing what I can to finish the project on time, but yesterday I got some time to take some photos of a toy that came to me from the partner Gigabyte just before Christmas. I present to you this beauty Z270X-Gaming 7
Then put the doll in resin. This was my first sculpture, but I enjoyed the process and I intend to do others. I also love this mini case, it is my mascot! Thank you! This series is on my list of favorites. ___________________________________ And now the new project ups! Logo of the series folded to fit better in the front! The acrylic 10mm rims will effect the lighting effect of the fans, with the white reflective base and black background to insulate the back lighting, and sanded to fade and spread the lighting better. And the interior with part of the covers installed (some are still with acrylic protection plastic).
More news! Follow the resin model of the logo on the side! Piece is in the primer, ready to receive painting.
More updates! Folded piece that maybe will be part of the cover (to study her use). Some pictures of the inside of the covers with and edge effects of the fans.
This last week was quite a race to finish the project, and with that ended up not giving time to take many photos of the whole process. But follow the pictures of the painting! White PU ink was used!
Lighting tests! Preview of the side with the logo painted and positioned. Test the paint still without polishing. (White PU was used)
Project 90% completed! And exhibited at Campus Party Brazil 2018 Thanks to all the brands who helped sponsor Cooler Master, Gigabyte, Team Group, Titan Caselabs and Seagate
