Saw this on Tap-Plastics website. What a monster! I love the filtration system. Is this someone on this board? Says Dave Cairns made it, but I'm not getting any hits anywhere. I would love to see mroe detailed pics, or even a build-log! :D David, whoever and whereever you are, bitchin mod! :thumb:

Those look like automotive airfilters. I have seen a guy in these forums use harley davidson air filters and mounts to cover his fans. But if you use automotive filters make shure you get washable ones.

washable ones use oil to capture the particles, could be messy.....

but with the cfm of a car vs the cfm of a computer, i wouldn't worry about using paper filters. btw, most reusable filters flow really well, but filtration sucks...

but what you want filtered is big and light compared to the dust it gets in cars so it will mostly be filtered out

According to the link I posted, they are the filters (big ones) out of a Shop-Vac. :D

That's because they are Shop-Vac filters. :worried:

    <tap tap> Is this thing on? :D

I dunno, if they are 120mm's and undervolted, it might not be that loud...
