Quality is not great but, this pianist is brilliant!

    Yeah that was pretty awesome.

I can remember the PW Reddit throwing a mini-fit when it came out that they'd spent almost half the Kickstarter money on hiring Jose Pavli. Safe to say it paid off in the end.

Saw that Alestorm had a new song out. Decided to put captions on, because, you know, lyrics and stuff.... I was not disappointed.

    Wow... nostalgic.

I saw them at Sheffield Uni back in.. 89? 90? with Xentrix - I think it was the Dreamweaver tour, but I could be wrong.

My abiding memory is (aside from nearly suffocating in the mosh pit), when we went outside immediately afterwards, a bus drove past us and we couldn't hear it.

Funny, I spent a fair bit of time in the Sheffield SU bar in the early 90s as i had mates there.

In the days where my youth meant that going out drinking started at lunchtime.

Sheffield was a regular stomping ground - midday at the Frog & Parrot and drink until the bar staff changed shifts, then into The Yorkshireman and on to Rebels nightclub.
