Does saving for the sake of saving count?

As much as a real weapon, but far far less than a real M200 :B

Admittedly, I paid close to retail for a Barrett M99 .408 for my M82A1 replica >.>

Real Cheytac M200 will run north of 10k USD for a regular ol' buyer. I guess you could get it cheaper if you know the right people, but hey. Not much gonna come off that big pile o' cash :B

not exactly saving as i've already earmarked the funds, but i'll be buying a new telly when i get back from holiday at the end of august. i just do what mister tad does; save for the sake of saving. means i have a nice amount of cash in the bank for impulse buys :D

I admire you 'savers for the sake of saving'.

I don't have nearly enough will power to do it.

If it's any consolation, I'm bound to blow the money on something ridiculous or quit my job and eat through it that way.:sigh:

Savings, paying off my overdraft, and more savings (so when I can eventually move out, it's a lot easier...)

    *edit*

Krikkit - my best mate does Chem Eng and is looking at the same fees for his... you guys must be crazy, 3 years in education (plus a bonus year for starting on a course i hated) was more than enough for me!)

Well I'm saving money till I get a job.

After that though, a new car, undecided on a 350Z, RX7 TT, kit car or something else midly exotic.

Then another trip to the Nurburgring and a visit to Le Mans 24hr.

Not bad for someone still at uni I don't think, what can I say, I've got aspirations lol

Looking to get a Canon 500D To replace my Nikon D40 and maybe in a few days a new Dell laptop to replace my main rig.

All will be used in the traveling ive got planned in 6 months, thank god my new job will kick in soon as the extra cash will be well spent. Then after that i will save for a flat.

Trying desperately to save enough to emigrate-American health care system is a farce if you're not loaded.
