My Revodrive died a couple of years back. It lasted a lot longer than I thought it would tbh.

My Crucial M225 64Gb was still working last I checked.

Was wary at the time dropping over £100 on 64Gb but as soon as it was in I never looked back.

Last 1Gb SSD I bought was about £80

M225 - that takes me back.

I bought the 128Gb drive in Sept 2009 (my first SSD) - remember when the prices were yoyoing up and down massively on a daily basis? I dropped on it at the low point, at ~ £230 and it was £100 more the very next day!

Got to remove the tape under the UV-powder filled resin in the DOOM desk today. It's made me question whether I need LED's, even in the darkness of the garage it was quite vibrant.

We'll see when it comes inside.

    edit :
That 1Gb SSD must of been a really early version, I guess.

Last 1GB drive I recall was on my mid 90s Apple Mac, which was better with Photoshop than PC at the time. Should be though, it was Expensive! With low res digital cameras just on the scene, I did think at the time 'am I really going to need all this storage space??'

@Byron C - did you try enabling conditional forwarding on your pihole? Settings, DNS, bottom of page. Add the IP of your router and your domain/workgroup name.

Trying to convince 1 of the work from home idiots that you can mute a phone call on the iphone when you dialled the call.
The same idiot doesn't know his itune password, or the password to the recovery email address so he can't install WebEx for conference calls.

I don't work in IT but because I can do this stuff I'm the filter before they can go to IT, this is gonna be a long slog

Received the Doom Eternal Collector's Edition. I'd rather still be in Scotland right now, but the bloody virus and cancelled flights made a hasty retreat necessary. Gladly this was waiting as a pick-me-up at home:

This morning, I had a call from the dealership I ordered my new car from in December.

It turns out that not only did Renault actually get around to building it before shutting down all their factories this week, they even imported it to the UK!
TL;DR it looks like I'll get the car on or even before the date I was given of April 15th :D

One of the advantages of VMs (and large cheap hard drives), VMs never have to die, just head out to pasture suspended waiting and hoping one day they'll be useful again.

Did the first pour of clear epoxy on the desk today, it's low odor so I did it inside and it's already curing up (outside took over a day to skin over) and it looks far better than I had any right to expect.

For reasons unknown I have 'america, **** yeah, so lick my butt and suck on my balls' although all I did was follow instructions on resin and have a stupid idea.
