Our HR manager (first actual HR employee) will start in a month's time.

First round of talks was positive. Looks like I'll stay, decision still pending, though. But I should get another raise out of this as an added bonus.

    TBC tomorrow

Titanfall 2 has randomly been updated and fixed by Respawn, no announcement, no warning. The DDOS attack appears (note, appears) to have been resolved.

45'000 players in matchmaking across Steam/Origin.

    Result.

Didn't know anything about this, but nearly downloaded T2 to the SeXbox last night after having a dabble in Hawken (got MechW5 in the queue as well... need to clear some space on that minuscule internal drive).

I'll have a poke and see what the SP is online/cross-platform.

Couple big sales last night made it my biggest sales day so far. Both coming from my last auction lot so owe me probably about 75p… nioce!

I only have the remainder of my overdraft to clear before I can officially say I’m debt free. I figured by the time I’m paid by work I’d be there but I’m starting to think I might get there before that.

If so, the only thing I’ll have left to do with my wages/sales come the end of the month is save it!

Correct, I had to renew my esta a couple of months ago for a 3 hour transit layover to another country.

I accidentally put washing up liquid in the rinse air recepticle. Why is it in this thread? For some reason the viscous liquid coming out was so absurd that I burst out laughing, most I've laughed in months :hehe:

    Latest update:

I'm staying at the company, moving into a new role (training manager) end of October. I'm also taking the team lead of the consultants on an interim base and was added to the management team yesterday (again, interim).

    This escalated quickly.

On an unrelated note: went to a Jimmy Carr gig yesterday night with my wife, laughed our asses off.

I know a lot of people dunk on raytracing, but when CP2077 looks good it looks very ****ing good.

Is this with ray reconstruction enabled?

DLSS3.5/Frame Gen/SuperLowLatency Mode, is ridiculous, at 1440p max settings with RT on Pyscho I can get 70-90 fps depending on area, or with RT off 120-130fps +... Even native I can still do 1440p maxed out without RT on, for someone that hasn't chosen a top tier card and just wanted to see what the enemy team was like in real life versus online troll reviews I've been rather impressed! I take it you went 4080/4090?

Oh give Control a go if you want to see some spicy RT in the darker/creepier sections, I much enjoyed haha!

What currently makes my life awesome, buying my Mum a present for her Birthday that she deemed too expensive to buy herself and couldn't justify :) the surprise shall be decent :)

The only game it has impressed me in is Cyberpunk. Sadly I didn't like the game very much. Control looks gritty AF, and the same sort of gritty haze was present in Metro Exodus as well. Sadly both games were not great either. Control needed more save points and was very frustrating and Exodus was just plain crap. Watered down, far too much cinematic rubbish and not enough game and when you did get to the game it was incredibly small and shallow.

Sadly because of their engine I can't see Bethesda doing a FO game with it in either.

Haha careful, someone might get triggered by that statement :naughty::hehe:

Yeah I was surprised how good it was vs how it didn't majorly excite me in the footage I'd watched. AW annoyed me however, I did force myself through it, so I could do the last DLC for Control and ready for AW2 - which actually looks decent.
