Disappointing list of games you guys. Most if not all are sequels. I wouldn't mind it if they were sequels for games in the 90s. It would be awesome if some devs updated old classics for todays PCs...like Stacraft 2 but with LAN play. Personally my most wanted are games I haven't heard of yet. I've been pleasantly surprised over the past year by indie developers and their new franchises. Hope they keep it up by developing more exclusives for the PC. That is where the next generation of gaming will originate. Not cross platform titles from the devs we grew to love only to be backstabbed by them.
Quite unsettling really, is 2010 really looking that barren for gaming? I haven't checked a proper games news site for months (IGN, Fileshack etc) so I was hoping my personal lack of enthusiasm was just through being out of the loop.... but maybe not.
Just Cause 2 (my most-looked-forward-to) already came out, and I usually only find out about games after they've been released and reviewed, so the only things I look forward to are sequels of games I enjoyed. That said, there really doesn't seem to be much on offer...
The only game I can honestly say I'm really looking forward to and hoping is going to be good is Crysis 2. I'm also looking forward to F1 2010 and WRC 2010 because I haven't played a decent F1 or rally (I mean proper rally not Dirt-style) game in ages.
cool, didn't know there's a WRC game coming out, definitely looking forward to that! and i forgot about F1 2010, was just watching Sunday's F1 thinking "shame, why isn't the game released yet, or i could be following F1 progress on my computer" so my list are: Crysis 2 Portal 2 Mafia 2 F1 2010 WRC 2010 and HAWX 2 if released this year.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Prince Of Persia: The Forgotten Sands F.E.A.R. 3 Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Singularity Crysis 2 Dead Rising 2 Fallout New Vegas Medal of Honor Ghost Recon 4 Brink Metal Gear Solid Rising Blur Split Second Portal 2 Lost Planet 2 Home Front Just to name a few well they are all the games i can think of that look interesting, probably only end up getting a handfull of them tho.
Gears of War 2 and 3, and Halo 3 on PC On a more serious note: Crysis 2 Portal 2 Aliens: Colonial Marines (IF it actually comes out, like it's supposed to have done 2 years ago) Fallout: New Vegas FEAR 3 And Starcraft 2 can go **** itself with a rake (that should ensure a few fanboi knee jerk reactions ).
The only game that I had been really looking forward to this year was S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Mass Effect 2 are surprisingly good. Apart from all the upcoming sequels and spin-offs, Singularity and Rage (2011?) are the two main games I'm keeping an eye on.

Would have to be Diablo 3 - not sure why it's taking so long - have been watching out for it for years!!
Between SC2 and Cataclysm I doubt Diablo 3 will make a 2010 launch. Releasing all three at once won't net them as many sales as staggering each by 6 months would, aka Diablo 3 in Q2 2011 would not surprise me. After all, doesn't cost anything to make a game and let it sit around while they get busy working on ways to squeeze more money out of it on launch.
