Hey all, what's happened the sections a bit down the home page of bit that showed some of the stuff going on in the forums? I used to use it a lot for getting into active threads especially but it seems to have disappeared recently. Is this gone for good?
Sorry that they're not there at the moment - I believe it's intentional and it's definitely coming back... from what I understand, it's just temporarily disabled because of server load at the moment (new servers are 'close').
new servers are a couple of weeks out, but Jamie might figure something out that re-enables those features again in the meantime - he's the best person to comment.
Good news! They are back now. I've moved the calculation from the database into PHP and it's running much smoother now.
