A dead kenwood mp8017 Caution large images! Taken Apart the problem stupid hair line cracks It was well worth the price and has served me well for the last 3 years.
I have 4, need to sell the first three though - mpman original 32mb mp3 player - Freecom beatman II mini CD mp3 player - Creative 6gb Jukebox - 1 week old 20gb ipod
My MP3 player well.... its got a 17" CRT moniter a cd drive floppy drive a reset button a 1/100/1000 internet connection, gefore 2 graphics card, 120 GB HDD, 350 Watt PSU, d845perl mobo window, CCFL
my volvo: crap generic laptop i got at school, p3 1.13, 30gb 4200 rpm hdd with 20/2/4 partitions (gotta have xp, and 2k adv srv on it at all times), winamp 2.8whatever, to listen to my books fiancee's grand prix: memorex cheapie cd based mp3/wma player moms prizm (geo, not chevy): koss even cheaper cd based mp3/wma player, doesnt even have id3 display i used to have the memorex in my car, now that im used to the laptop, i wont go back. only downside is i only get about an hour and 25 minutes on my battery. i need to get a 100W inverter for it. i got a 50W, but my charger pack draws over 65W. so i can charge in the car, but running off the inverter really ****s with my system, and makes the hsf not run right ... after about 20 minutes it just reboots. Id really like a standalone hard drive based mp3 player, been looking at a 20gb archos for a while now, just cant afford one. and i wont own an iPod, cause i just dont like em.
Use my PC when I am at home. Normally I read while travelling rather than listen to music. If I do feel like some music, then I use the FM Radio in my 8310. Used to have a Creative Nomad Jukebox. But I got tired of it as it was too heavy to be carried around all the time and the battery life was crap. The hard drive space was good tho (6gb was replaced with 20gb). Had it completely filled, but this made it take a long time to boot-up and scan the library.
Targa TMU-306 One of those generic 128Mb ones that are going around at the moment. (Like the Duex that was reviewed on Bit-Tech). It looks different though.
i have an mini (8cm) mp3 CD player: http://web6.scan.co.uk/Products/images/lores/18717.jpg (in less girlie colours) cost me £24.50 works perfectly, has ID3, sound settings, etc the only fault i have with it is the battery life is poor, but it lasts a full day before needing a recharge so its bareable.
10Gb rev2 iPod will buy a 40Gb one after xmas already filled this. Er why is the four letter word for Christmas a swearword?
