i am actually down to 2 machines right now (outside of work) ...

    desktop -
    e7400 @ 3.5
    msi p43 neo3
    4gb ddr2 800
    4850 /512
    tons of hard drive space
    win7 x64 ultimate

gaming, surfing, burning, dragging across living room to hook to tv for movie night ...

    tablet:
    IBM x41t
    1.5ghz pmob ulv
    1.5gb ddr2 (512 soldered, 1gb in slot)
win7 x32 rc ... needs to be reloaded.

light surfing, 3 year old art projects (want stylus! want stylus! ... guess you have to know her to get it), ebook reading w/ MS reader.

soon to be HTPC: (i got most of the parts, just not the time)
    p4d 521
    4gb ddr2 800
    old evga 650i board
some kinda cheapo vid card with native hdmi (looking at 4350's really)
as much hard drive as i can scrounge up (probably end up with a tb storage and a 3 or 4 80gb stripe array for frequent files)

probably going to frankenstien a case together out of my old pc71 in the closet (mobo tray, psu bracket, drive cages) and a 650w psu i have from a dead dell precision 670 workstation.
i just need to see how much $$ i have left after x-mas shopping this weekend.

    ooooooh, crap, this'll be a somewhat long-ish list :D

My main rig is in my sig:
Q6600 being clocked up and down, currently at 3.24GHz (tho, need to get the voltages right),
    a Gigabyte EP45-UD3R
    2*2GB G.Skill RAM, 800MHz@CL4
Sapphire HD4850 (dual slot cooler. less noisy, but the memory cooling is shyte)
5 hard drives, totalling about 1.6 TB
An old, and hopefully soon to be replaced EuroCASE 550W PSU is powering it
All crammed into a modded Xilence X1 case - reverse ATX midi-case, since my computer sits on my left, next to the wall - I added a 120mm fan on top to keep the GFX from frying.
Windows 7 RC (tho' an MSDNAA licence of win 7 professional is gonna go there when the RC expires)
    Samsung SM2232BW

Does just about anything I throw at it, currently games, day-to-day use, multimedia, any uni work...

Right next to it, behind my screen, is my server
The old E6300 Core 2 Duo (1.86 GHz Cheesecake)
    Intel DP965LT mobo
2*1 GB of 667MHz Kingston Value ram (don't need more or faster)
Sapphire HD4350, just because I need A graphics card :D
80 GB Seagate 7200.9 Single-platter drive for boot,
1 TB WD Caviar Green and 1 TB Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 (replacement drive after my brother's suffered the firmware of death) for storage
All powered by a 520W OCZ ModXStream PSU (yay for modular PSUs!), and stuffed into a CoolerMaster Centurion 540-something case, dampened by my brother.
Running Ubuntu 9.04 (can't be arsed restarting it to upgrade - current uptime is 60 days, after a power loss in my street)

Used as a file server and general quiet surfing computer when I don't want to bother starting up the main rig.

Notebook, also in my sig, is a Thinkpad R500
Used for surfing, being carried around, uni work, watching movies in bed :D

    I also have an Axiomtek industrial machine (completely silent, fanless, running FreeNAS and acting as my torrent box);
a Cobalt Qube/Cube 2700 (the original one - 200 MHz MIPS CPU, some ram, outfitted with a 6 GB hard drive - currently not doing anything, but will probably become an SSH server)
The Compact Mess box, running naked right next to my arm, trying to gather enough attention to be finished :D (running Mac OS X 10.5.2, just because I can :D)

Other than that, the house also has my brother's machine (SFF case, notebook CPU in a gigabyte board) used for just about anything he does; my father's notebook; an MSI Wind 10" shared between brother and dad; My old notebook, a 12" MSI rebrand, acting as the village bicycle; and somewhere there's also an old Powermac 1400CS or something like that, not completely sure of the name :D

erm, bit embarrasing tbh, sold my q6600 about 3 months back, and been running on this since,

    Pentium D 2.8
1gb Ram (god knows what it is)
GeForce 210 512mb gfx card ( i have a spare 4870 lying around, but it's dual slot so wont fit in dell. Typical.
2x 200gb HDD's (cant stripe them and nothing mission critical to mirror)
    Dell E520 case
Dell W2208 (the one with the webcam)
    Ms Vista 32bit.

    Usage:

Surfing, Music, Films, Web Development, runs an IIS server.

Im currently trying to make up my mind over Amd Phenom II build, or i5 build for the new year as this will become a HTPC. Want to see what SSD's are like in the new year too.

I have quite a few systems so brace yourself:
Sig Rig : Mainly gaming, as in my favourites at the moment ( Dragon Age,GTA IV, Crysis Warhead/Wars, Moviebattles II a Jedi Knight Jedi Academy modification, Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer). Bit of Video encoding here and there for xfire aswell as to stream to my ipod with a readynas.

    Secondary rig :
    Q6600 G0 @ 3.4GHz
    Ga x48T DQ6
    4Gb Corsair Dominator 1866MHz kit
    9800GX2/GTX 275
    Antec 900
    Dell 2408WFP

Not actually mine, but it gets its use when I run my inhouse LAN tournament with a few friends from 6th form.

Tertiary Rig (Lanbox/ home theatre) :
    Q6600 3.2GHz
    Gigabyte P45 M-ATX
    4Gb Corsair Platinum 1066MHz
    Sapphire HD 4870 1GB
Thermaltake lanbox with touch screen drive bay monitor

Use this for movies and whatever I need on a TV, but once again it gets a good work out on my LAN gaming.

    'Spare' rig:
    Qx9770 @ 3.6GHz
    GA-X48T-DQ6
    4Gb Corsair Dominator 1866MHz
    BFG GTX 280 OCX
    Antec 900

Was originally my main system for a good few years but in the end I did a completely new build this August. However I kept it running by banging in an F3 Drive and installing windows again. Its a good contender over my lanbox for lan gaming.

I think i'm quite mad right now after listing that!

Once all the parts are finally working: Gigabyte P43 mobo, E5200 (oc'd to 3ghz probably), Scythe Kama Angle, CM Storm Scout with two 120mm Scythe Slipstreams in the window, 8600GTS while the 9600GT is getting RMA'd, 4x1GB DDR2-1066 (something HyperX), about 1.5TB total hdds, mostly Seagate. Will run Vista HP 64 until I get the cash for Win7.

My laptop is an Eee PC 4G Surf with 2GBs of RAM. It doesn't quite run stable at 900mhz, it hits 890ish mhz stable, which is weird.. I usually underclock it to around 400mhz as all I do on it is surf Bit, Wikipedia and Facebook.. Its running Android 1.6 X86 right now, but it's usually Windows XP heavily nLited.
