I've got 2 19" LCDs both at 1280x1024. I'm very tempted to buy a 3rd monitor to complete the set and let me play games a bit more effectively (currently using just 1 screen for games).

    Do I:
    - buy another standard 19" and just sit it on the left
    or
    - buy a widescreen one and put it in the middle between the existing 19"s. If this one, what screen size do I need? Ideally it'd have the same 1024 vertical pixel count.

I'm really looking for something off ebay  My current screens are an AOC (6 yrs old, no "issues" ever (touch wood), cheap at the time) and a Syncmaster something or other I inherited. Hence I'm not overly bothered about quality as long as the resolution's correct!

    Thanks

ps I also need another graphics card (current in sig) to drive it, any ideas? (again cheap cheappppp) :)

    a 22" 1680x1050 16:10 fits perfectly in between a couple 19" 5:4 screens

Same physical height, same sized pixels, nearly the same vertical resolution - works a treat.

The Dell 2209WA will work quite nicely.
