    I'm so excited about getting my New/First Beast of a PC as I have never really been able to play games much above the low/medium settings on 1440x900.

    I just wondered what you guys would suggest as a good start.

    I do also have Crysis 1 and WarHead and will probably buy Battefield 3 in the very near future.

    Cheers,
    /Comf.

    Theres load of good titles there.

    What ever you do take Orcs Must Die for a twirl at some point if you haven't. I really like it in short bursts.

    Skyrim

    Steamcalculator won't show my games even though I followed the instructions perfectly.

    Out of your list, I'd say play Assassin's Creed, or get BF3 and join the CPC server. :)
    Edit - Actually you can do both as most people don't tend to be on BF3 until after 8pm.

    Seems to be working with the name in your signature (unless that's another Smiffy):

    I've just realised looking at my list that I don't put much time into my Steam games, they've all got pretty low play times.
    I sure do spend a lot of money on them though (such a compulsive shopper).

    My Sims 3 isn't on Steam so it's hidden.
    I've probably spent a stupid amount of time on it though.

    @Comfy;
    Based on your unplayed list:

    I'll change my recommendation to Dead Space 2 and Thief. :)

    Most of my games weren't bought at the price listed due to Christmas sales but it does make you wonder :D

    DS2, Skyrim (with HD textures) and BF3 it is.

    For just visuals it's hard to beat the crysis games.

    But gameplay wise you have some brilliant games there.
    Skyrim, Stalker (Make sure to use the complete mod), Portal 1 and 2, Metro (Brilliant graphics),
    Fallout, dead space.

    :) It's interesting snooping at people's game lists and seeing what they've been playing or what they've bought but haven't touched.
    That Steam play-time calculator is going to be my new favourite toy while at work now.

    ...So at the risk of hijacking the OP question;
    On my insanely long list of untouched games what should I have a go at or what on my played games should I dedicate more time to?
