A minor annoyance in the grand scheme of things but it appears the scroll wheel on my G400 has either kicked the bucket or at the very least has lined the bucket up for the kick...

I put up with a wonky scroll wheel longer than was necessary out of pure laziness. No one deserves a wonky scroll wheel. As a helpful side note don't buy Roccat gear, it's awful.

This^ but you also ought to wash your mouth out with acid. Just to be sure. SQL or MySQL, Access is a cancer upon the world that needs to be stamped out. I regularly get "My system says it's run out of resources!" because they're opening numerous Excel workbooks with 64K lines 'cos they don't know how to shrink the data to what's needed. Right tool for the right job, I can't enforce it. Love to do so - with a bat. It's more personal that way.

Id prefer they used Access or My/SQL, company would never sign off on that though Access is bundled but they all see Excel as the easy option because they know how to make it pretty.
What with teaching them the basics like dont format the entire sheet in your daft cell formatting an "rescuing" files they have accidently pressed hide workbook (yes that happens). I dont get to do mych actual 2nd line work.

Oh it's a scam, wait a second it's not a scam. Log into Paypal and...

Some little charmer's been ordering Pizzas on my Paypal account, a lot of pizzas.

Filed a dispute, changed passwords and security questions, lets see if I get my money back.

    Car Mot cost me £400….

In the past 4 months i’ve had this car it’s cost me £900 for a clutch and gearbox, now £400 for a mot…

That’s without the insurance costing £170 a month, road tax and other regular expenses.

Knowing my car window doesn’t even work it makes me want to cry myself to sleep every damn night.

car y u no just work!??????????

The unholy matrimony of legs, speed and evilness that was the rather large spider which appeared outside my bedroom door. It's not like I wanted sleep tonight or anything,

    I CAN TOP THAT!

Playing BF3 yesterday, headphones on, headphones have a long cable, it reaches from the floor upwards.

Something twitches out the corner of my eye.

    Look down.

A house spider is gamely traversing the cable and climbing up towards me like an eight legged Jean-Claude Van Damme. Hyper X braided cables are apparently the favourite climbing ropes of enormous black spiders.

    Sleep well.

I completed my Vive pre-order less than 4 minutes after they opened.

The official release was one week ago and I still don't have tracking information.

Sorry Rift guys. I know you're worse off.

I belong to a throat cancer support group on Facebook. Great place for support obviously but also information, a place to rant to moan and have laugh. And I have become virtual friends with many people in the group but it does not get any easier when someone comes on and says that their cancer is terminal. A person who set up their own group for cancer sufferers to share jokes etc unfortunately has had the ultimate diagnosis where even treatment that may extend life could shorten it.

    Not nice.

That car is getting to the point were you'd be better off picking up a £500-£1000 beater with MOT at a car auction every six months-year...

It's what I did with my last car - and it made it through two and a half MOT's - needed a new cat (£75) to get through it's second one. Yea it cost me bits and pieces here and there, but nothing like what yours is doing.

And when something fatal (to the car) happens, you just walk away from it without a second thought. Mine was ring-land failure.
