Leave it in a library book apparently!! Thats right. Someone found £190 in a book tonight and handed it over to me (I work there by the way!) Whats the most stupid thing you could do after doing the most stupid thing you could do with £190? Well you could decide not to give your phone number or full address on your library card so that we cant contact you. GAHHH some people. I was quite impressed with the bloke that handed over the money though. good lad!!
Most stupid would be A - burn it B - Eat it C - drow in bin D - give it away to a charity etc.... E - Hand to the cops [pigs] F - put in bottle with a note and throw into sea G - Invest it
Whilist working at the local library, I have found some prety stange stuff in books (love letters, actual mail, lecture notes, lists of phone numbers/email addresses, mics bookmarks, etc.), but never found $$$ before... Most of it either gets thrown away, or they attempt to return it to the rightful owner, but I never hear weither it was successful or not I guess that the stupidest thing would be to distroy the money with it benafiting nobody. At least by giving it to a charity you are benafiting somebody
And you actually TRIED to contact the original owner ?? Its obvious he dosnt want the money... so keep it !!, and give some to the honest guy that gave it in.. say it came as a thank you from the 'real' owner... L

What if the money was left there for someone in a secret organisation to pick up in payment for some dodgy goods. If you took it, and spent it, they could track you down, and torture your pet hamster until you pay it back!!!! Ok, mebbe a little over the top, but don't steal it for yourself
