Cooling Where to get distilled water?

    Possibly a stupid question but where can I get some distilled water from?

    Its quite hard to get distilled water.

    What I would suggest is De-ionized water which you can buy from any auto shop and most garages/service stations.

    This is basically water that has had all the impurities removed and is as closer as pure water without distilling it.

    Yer halfords do it.

    De-ionized water is used for some types of batteries.

    If you're in the US, try Wal*Mart. Distilled water is found in the bottled water isle.

    yah my local grocery store carries it for $1 a gallon in the bottled water area

    You'll also find de-ionised sold in stores for putting in steam irons. Our lab went over to de-ionised, much cheaper to produce than distilled and very nearly as pure.

    I use the Tetrosyl de-ionised water from places like Asda :)
