Do you guys position the taskbar on the top or bottom? Do you have auto hide set for the taskbar?

Why do you have it on the top or bottom? Why auto hide?

I have it at the bottom, but I almost always leave it hidden, as I access everything via Alt+F2 ;)

Bottom, auto-hide because I set it to double height and I can't be arsed to sort it. (Besides, I think it works better like this)

John Cena - Alt+F2 is for KDE (Linux).

actually I use double-height as well, mainly for the extra space on the bar for quicklaunch icons (i hate loading up my desktop with icons, kept to a minimum).

I like it at the bottom with quick-launch icons and an adress bar, it's double height aswell to make space for program list :thumb:

    <childish> :hehe: </childish>

On Topic: Mine's aways at the bottom of the screen, but only on one screen. like the other one clear for remote desktops etc.

Couple of people at work seem to insist on having the menu bar (file, edit tools etc) in outlook down the left hand side. Bloody confusing!

Rofl having the bar on the sides is like trying to read a book upside down :eyebrow:

At the bottom, auto-hide on. I use Smartbar XP to access quick launch and most other info I want. It's hidden as well. My desktop is clean of all icons, I really don't like clutter.
