Just bought a new 2TB drive (compliments of Kenco)

Would like opinions on which of these drives to use as a Boot drive, which for storage, and which I should sell (Don't need all 3).

My instinct is that the F3 is the fastest....however Samsung are making a lot of noise about the improved speed of their 3 platter F4EG, so would this in fact be the best drive for booting?

The WD drive is currently marked for sale, anyone care to defend it against the F3?

    1TB - Samsung Spinpoint F3 (SATAII, 7200RPM, 32MB Cache)

    2TB - Samsung F4EG (SATAII, 5400RPM, 32MB Cache)

1TB - Western Digital Caviar Green (SATAII, 7200RPM, 16MB Cache)

Iirc benchmarks show the 2tb to be slower, naturally as it is 5400rpm, than the F3.

F3 is the speed king there.

Definitely the F3. The F4 has denser platters (667GB as opposed to 500GB on the F3) and isn't too shabby but the F3 is quicker still.

F3 for boot drive it is, makes more sense to have the 2tb as storage anyway.

Tempted to sell the F3 and the WD and use the cash to buy an SSD for the boot drive....

You could do that, but if you do decide to keep a mechanical drive I'd test the WD against the F3

F3 is most likely to be faster than the WD, so I would sell the WD, use the F3 for boot and the F4 for storage.
