    Well, I can say that Cowon's iAudio line is known for having excellent quality sound output. I recently got an iAudio T2 and have found it to be quite nice. Sorry I can't give you any real information other than, well, the A2 will probably sound nice. :/

    Probably because ipod's are terribly common, poor materials on the inside, poor battery life. Boring menus etc etc.

    a number of annoying copyright protection stuff, terrible user interface + what Mighty Yoshimi said. I also hate apple with a passion.
