just ran 3DMARK06 and recorded a score of 17384 3DMarks . Just wondering who has the hightest score on the bit-tech forum..... Also what hardware do you have and what setting...
Shouldn't you post your hardware then? Last time I ran it I'm sure it was around 22k for me but can't remember if it was the QX9650 or the i7 I used. It was 2 GTX280's though & 8 or 12GB RAM
my pc system is i7 920 cpu, Asus P6T SE motherboard,Gainward ATI Radeon HD 4870 1GB Golden Sample, 6GB (3x2GB) Corsair XMS3, Corsair H50- CPU Watercooler and csx spartan stacker 830 case...and poor cable managment!!!!
Pete J has 3xgtx480s and not stock speed ones i have a sneeking feeling that he might do well at a 3dmark test especialy as he's cpu speed is over 4ghz.
Ok I will have ago. Will post back later. For the time being, this is my vantage score @ 4.2ghz gpu 1000/1250mhz
just re-ran 3DMARK06 and got a lower score of 17100 3DMarks...200 less than last time!! have updated drivers ect...what am i doin wrong? and what score should i be looking for? please help
Why would you really even care? If you want to run 3dmark, run Vantage. It's games where you need performance, not obsolete synthetic benchmark.
If I remember rightly, I got 17000 with a stock I7 with stock 5850. I could be wrong though, I'll find where I put the file and give it another run.
I got round 45k, default demo run though. I'm guessing you guys are setting it more the the stock settings. e8400 @ 3.8ghz gtx 260 216 cores 4gig ram
that can't be right. back in the days i still care about messing about with hardware, and had too much time on my hand, got 18,500 for q6600 + gtx260
Indeed it smells quite fishy. 50% higher score than true_gamer but with vastly inferior gear. Pics or it didn't happen.
