I not completely sure but i dont think Bit-Tech has it copyrighted so sueing wouldnt accoplish much, But they can ask directron to remove it or pay royalties

If you're talking about this lighted fan mod, guess what? The Panaflo one was FIRST! Macro starts out the article by saying "By popular request here is the homemade mod for the lighted fan. Pcmods.com was selling this mod for $50". For those of you who don't know, Directron swallowed up PCMods right around this time last year, so in no way shape or form is Directron "stealing" from Macro.

My word, they're getting big, aren't they? :eeek:

For $50, it had better make my computer go a good 600MHz faster, or it's a complete waste of $$$ :p

Slight correction: it was actually CaseETC that they swallowed up. PCModes hasn't been swallowed up by anybody (yet). Nevertheless, PCMods started selling them first.

I have one of those. Or at least something close. Won it though, no way I'd spend that much on that thing.

PCmods produced the original fan. Koolvin reviewed and I modded it here. .

Brad Williams made his own version as linked to in whypick1's post above.

$42 for a fan is still $42 even if it has lights!
