You might classify WoW as a christmas game, during the 'feast of Winter Veil'.
And COD:MWII has got this great snow thing going on in a few levels, love it!

There is a great Christmas texture pack for Minecraft and some good "festive" maps to play.

Killing Floor went all Christmassy last year.

Games I personally associate with Christmas are ToCa Touring Car Championship and Spec Ops as they were presents back in '98.

Almost every MMO gets festive, TF2 usually gets festive, Angry Birds got festive with its evil advent calendar, and quite a few other titles do as well.

The best festive game I've played to date! I'd imagine it'll do it again this year.

I was going to say Die Hard too. Along the snow lines, South Park always reminds me of Christmas.

Messiah. Well you can't have Christmas without the Messiah.

There's definitely a trend to have mainstream games with a festive slant, rather than all-out festively themed games. They would only seem to be relevant around December - who would honestly want to play a Christmassy game or watch a Christmassy film in July for example?

I kinda liked the South Park game that was hours of fun pelting fat*ss Cartman with snowballs.

Good point raised in the article about non-festive games released around Christmas time, somehow still feel like Christmas games even though there's not an ounce of anything festive in them.

A big one for me is Grim Fandango. I got this for Christmas the year it was released (october 1998) and spend the entire holiday period working my way through it. It's a classic Lucasarts point/click adventure about the Day of the Dead festival in Mexico for those not in the know. Not festive in the slightest; however, I still remember that Christmas like it was last years.
