Why do you get up in the morning?

I'm a college student and I have no idea where I want to go from here i'm thinking EE, Pharmacy, or Law School. Anyway, I have a severe lack of purpose in my life and this is a place where I can ask a large group of people: "What is your purpose? What are you working for, goals etc...?" with relative anonymity. This my be a cliche thing to be asking, but I truly am curious.

 

I have that same unerlinine feeling in my life.

 

Nothing big, i just want to ... rule teh world

Seriously i would like to learn as much as i can.

 

I get up just to go to school, hop by my workplace, talk to my friends... nothing really big. The plan is to become a webdesigner though

 

To make somthing of myself, to have enough money to see the world, do the things in life that are worth doing.

 

To be successful, have enough money to live comfortably, indulge myself a little, travel and see the world, take photos.

 

I usually get up in the morning because I need to pee... anything after that is a bonus

I'm at uni doing a degree in MWD, so erm - I'd like to do something with Multimedia and/or Website Development! I'm not bothered about getting rich, making money, having a fancy house, etc. I'm content with being content.

 

i have gotten up for the past few days all just because atleast one part of my system arrives every mornin

Wish they would hurry up n deliver ma HDD n CPU!

 

I get up cause my cat wakes me and doesn't leave me alone till I feed her ... my goal in life ? Have a loveing wife, maybe some children and have my own buisness, that's why I'm doing my diploma in ME ... I just want to be happy and give what I never got from my parents. Family happyness is my supreme goal ... yeah I know I'm a dreamer

why i get up?

well.. i have to go to school (damn early!) to get an education, get money so that i can buy food and computer parts...

i don't care for the rest at the moment... that stuff comes later...

mightybob: i know how you feel... i HATE wating for parts to arrive... and when they first arrive it's like christmas eve

/edit: on a more serious note, I wake up so that I can earn cash so that one day soon I can have my own place

 

because if i didnt then i wouldnt go to any lessons, wouldnt pass my A-levels and wouldnt be able to do the uni course i wanna do (masters in computer science and cybernetics at reading)

 

My purpose in life is to provide as much as I can for my kids both mentally and physically so that they grow up as healthy, well rounded, intelligent, successful and respected adults.

My goal in life is exactly the same as above plus to be able to retire by the time I'm 45...

 

I get up in a morning to go to college

I go to college cos I need to get soem AS levels

I need to get some AS levels to do A levels

I need to get A levels to go to uni

Uni has cheap alcohol.

 

Well, to face the social aspects of life. And school. The fact that these two are somewhat imbedded into each other makes it ok.

 

i get up in the morning becos...

1) to go to work (build technician)
2) To earn cash
3) To get me out of the house
4) Becos i cant sleep 24/7

i dont have a real major aim in life...i spose its jus to enjoy it while it lasts!

 

Life's ****, and then you die.

 

am I the only one who's gonna be a rock star?.....oh, ok then, well thats my aim, maybe not a STAR, but make a living off playing my music
