Hey Everyone, Looking to add Bluetooth to an old PC. The PC has an MSI A68HImother board with support for a M.2 key E card. Specification A68HI | MSI Global - The Leading Brand in High-end Gaming & Professional Creation I'm looking at adding Intel AC201 wifi 6e card WiFi 6E Wireless Card Intel AX211 NGW M.2: CNVio2, Bluetooth 5.3, Tri-Band 5400Mbps, Network Adapter for Laptop Support Windows 10/11 (64bit), Linux, Chrome OS. Only available with Gen 12+ CPU : Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories Will this one work on that motherboard? I am about 90% confident it will work however the description is saying for Gen12+ CPU's which gives me the impression it will only work for intel processors. I can't see why that would be the case. Has anyone any inout if it is alright to go for? Thanks in advance
no, as that's a CNVIo2 module which is propietary to intel platforms. You want something like this - https://www.scan.co.uk/products/int...00-gigplus-dual-band-2x2-bluetooth-51-no-vpro To quote the wiki page, you want a card/model ending in 0 [regular m.2] rather than ending in 1 [CNVI] Dontcha just love proprietary ****ery?
