The Pentium name lives on in SB CPU's.

I'm impressed that it has lived on but also find it amusing that it's now the name of the budget entry level offerings.

It does, however, provide an interesting question for me.

As the SB CPU's are stupendously fast and the integrated graphics is also pretty decent, it seems these new pentiums could provide a decent amount of grunt for a media PC. Paired with this and put in a small case it seems like a decent alternative to a Zacate based system and might have a little more grunt (I stress that I say might have).

What I'd like to see in the future is a comparison test between the pentiums and zacate.

That's what made the G6950 desirable on a budget

I can see myself using the smallest one a lot. Friends and family builds, home server, maybe HTPC?
