Modding Window HDD (56k unfriendly)

    Just mounted my window HDD. It is a Quantum Prodrive with 540mb!:rock: It sits in a hole next to the mainboard on the right side. I put a window into the right side, covered the surroundings of the HDD with aluminium foil and finally lighted it up with superbright LEDs...

    Looks good.

    Note the rough glue gun attempt at the edges, and i stuck a BLUE led in but it didnt light it all up :(

    the mod is nice, but what is that next to your hdd? Alu foil? I think it would be even better if you could see inside the case though.....

    The problem with being able to see inside the case is that I cannot make the hole any larger since the mainboard sits right next to it. Also I would have no way to mount it. Good idea though!:D
