Reported thread because this isn't a tits n arse forum and it's a 'come visit me' not contribute to the community.

I've had to watch you guys all week slobber over these poor girls and I'm ****ing sick of it. I know for a fact one of them on one booth (not shown here) was 14, which makes you a bunch of pedos.

And I'd like to back you guys up, thank you ! I must be the only happily married man on the internet. I really don't need to ogle women and I find it terribly disrespectful.

TBH, most of the OP's threads are little more than self-serving ads that offer nothing to the community.

Just wondering what you meant by that?

Just making sure you're not being offensive in response to being offended :)

Never minded OP's threads as they've had some interesting info sometimes and never felt like they were a sales pitch or anything like that.

I've got no issue of WWM posting his hardware threads. The pics are great and the info is interesting. I take issue with the thread 'sell' being, effectively, softcorepornhub.

What happens is there are hundreds of "reporters" that are basically tit hunters who aren't even interested in the products. It's a product show, not an adult entertainment expo. They visit all the shows - all shows - just to shoot showgirls. They waste space we could otherwise use for actual business and act like they're looking at a meat counter. I have to stand there and watch this misogyny every.single.day. I see these guys constantly mentally undressing them. As a result of this "normalising" of attitude I have to watch my female co-workers and friends in other companies suffer too. Willing, paid participant rolls over to anyone with breasts and a cute face.
This attitude feeds another bad situation: some of the girls are in fact prostitutes and certain boss' hire them knowing they can go out in the evening and have a good time. It's a lurid industry. You hear stories.
It's my 9th year attending and I'm just so tired of seeing it. And then stuff like this fills my FB feed too all week. Engineers, sales, etc all reposting it. I think, how do your coworkers, your wives and daughters feel? ****ing hell some people have no shame.

Why do exhibitors use scantily clad 14 year old girls to promote their products? Surely it puts ordinary folk off attending. Motorbikes used to have a similar problem (young models with not much on and sleazy punters) but they cleaned up their act years ago.

Because they assume that PC gamers and enthusiasts are morons and couldn't pull a muscle.

And what do most of the people who attend do? Prove them right by perving. I don't understand why men like to stand next to pretty girls/women and have photos taken.

It's by no means exclusive to PC gamers. Ever been to festival of speed? Lots of pretty young woman wearing outfits ranging from something the cheeky girls would be proud of to suitable, depending on how classy the manufacture wants to appear.

On topic, those "race" components with checkered flags on them, laying the metaphor on a little thick me thinks.

Goodwood? Been several times never really noticed it tbh. I only live up the road :)

I guess it all depends what you're looking at. The allure of Hammy doing donuts in a F1 car probably grabbed all of my attention and meeting Jesse James kicked ass also :)

I've noticed OP has posted similar pics from previous events on a number of other tech forums.

Can't say I've seen much flesh on show at Goodwood either. I once saw couple of Toyo tyre girls handing out promotional tat but they weren't exactly in your face. I'll be going later this month for the first time since 2010, perhaps things have changed since I last went.

    Aye goodwood.
The Alfa booth workers were certainly not in anything worse than the lady in the image above, unless I'm massively miss remembering. (I assume some worse have been removed above).
