Right, 'ere is my dilema -

I can't get broadband where I live, but I can get it at work (About 3 miles away)
If you stand on my roof you can just see where I work.

Now, what I want to know is, is it possible/what would I need and (dare I say it) how much would it cost to link the two places, so that I could rob my werx 2mb ADSL line from home?

I know that you ain't gonner be playing no net games over it, pings r gonner be hooge - I know a few things about wireless but not very much see (besides, I can get my ftp and apache up then too :p).

I have investigated this many times.....the practical answer is no.

it is theoretically possible, but it would be a right pain getting it done, and so expensive you may as well hire a leased line to somewhere
