    Should point out that normal glass will shatter if you heat and let it cool normally. There's always a chance someone will not know.
    Are you using MAP or propane?

    IDK how useful this will be on tubing but many years ago I was a glazier. For about four years.

    The easiest way to cut glass is to cut it, turn it over and tap behind the cut. Maybe you could find a way to do this with tube, as snapping it is pretty cray crazy. I used to love cutting laminate the most. Mostly because you would pour alcohol into the cut and set it on fire :D
