I work with/by a guy like Turning, he got taken on by an already top flight PHD dude in his early 50's, first two weeks he sat in the side office away from every one so he could get accustom to the environment and he got tested hard-core, talks with a stutter if you speak too fast to him. The guy is legit genus with numbers beyond even normal unexpected talent, it happens you get these guys and they suffer in other areas, you can tell some thing is different, they cant communicate it to you, the best is if you are intuitive and a good reader of people and you kind of get an impression insight. the brain is not the mind, the brain is a channel for the mind, (electrical > chemical) some peoples minds are not restraint in some areas and hence they can go from to A to C with out going to B information does not only come via five senses or your own imagination imo, hence people like Nicola tesla
