Ok, I'm getting a 360 soon (yeah, I know, been under a rock) and was wondering if you can do online play with two people from one console? I fully intend on getting a XBL Gold sub, but idk if I can have two players from the same console connected. Basically my sister wants to play Halo 3 with me against the folks online. Is it possible, and would I need two XBL Gold subs or anything? I know there is some guest feature, but I think thats for a separate console. Ideas? Thanks.
You can do it with one sub but not every game supports split screen on XBL (very few actually). Halo does.
When you go into a lobby you just have the other players (up to 3) sign in on either their own XBL gold account or if they don't have one they sign in as Guest
Does not work for Modern warfare 2 They think people will boost to much? LOL people still boost with or without a second player on the console..... Hope I helped.
Yeh but you got to admit that one time you catch them boosting and take them out before a nuke is prob the best feeling in the world
Ahmen to that - mite make a nuke boost combo breaker montage xD Can't think of any other game i've encountered that allows to online splitscreen, other than halo 3 actually. Would be interesting if you guys could tell me what others there are.
All righty, I got teh console and XBL and got the whole guest thingy to work. We just said screw it and got two subscriptions. So anyone got any good game recommendations? also, thread derailment.
I cannot think of one game bar Halo 3 and Borderlands that allows it. Which is rather annoying really. Would love to know if there are any more.
Are you sure about Forza? I thought i'd tried it a few months back and failed miserably. But I may be wrong about that. I agree there's nothing much beyond Borderlands and Halo that allow it though.
