As you can see, I've not been on long! But, I've just set up a permanent connection to my router (god bless you OS X and your easy peasy internet sharing) and I'll have Gears of War tomorrow (hopefully) so I look forward to a good bit of pwning!

 

Figure I might as well throw this on. Been wanting to go online and play, but only really enjoy it with somebody I know. So it is somewhat of a question as to why I have live to begin with...

Anyway, add me if you want. On a good bit, especially on weekends.

How do I get a decent gamer picture...... Without paying for it? Is this possible? Because all the default ones suck like crazy and I'm not one to PAY for a set of gifs.

Also, my bloody Gold subscription just ran out and I'm way broke at the moment so I might not be on Crackdown or GoW for a while unless I use one of them 48hr thingies when I know I've a couple of nights free.

 

£4.99 a month on a rolling subscription? Seriously that's the worst news I've heard in ages - I was so hoping for some ace GoW coop with you mate.

I've basically harvested all the free gamerpics that have come and gone since the 360 launched. Sadly fewer and fewer companies offer their stuff for free these days... I think the only ones I've paid for were the Penny Arcade ones as they're so good and I had a massive amount of credits free after buying Geometery Wars at launch. The othe alternative seems to be to get a Livecam and photograph a picture you like. Or your meat-an-two'.

 

I might be able to sort something out. My finances are pretty dire right now but I might go mad without my fix of Gridlock + weird Americans and Crackdown needs that 100% completion with all the coopy goodness.

Most seem to have ... gone. Which really sucks. I think if you've bought the game, you should be able to download any of it's extra stuff like that for free. It's crazy. I could understand charging for 4 extra characters in Crackdown, but a few jpegs? Live's crazy...
