    hi guys :)

after installing my new mobo ive had a prob with my XFXD 6800 gamers edition, now the temp sensor reads about 154 degrees according to the nvidia drivers panel, it sometimes drops to abouy 70, but is soon back up to 154

3dmark 03 and 05 results are way below what id expect and doom3 just locked up, do i need to RMA?

    thanks

it could be the cooler not making good contact with the gpu core, in which case you can always try to remount it if you are that way inclined, but in the case that it is just a screwed card it wont help and you may not be able to get an RMA for it (seeing as removing the cooler will invalidate your warranty)

do yo get the same result with different drivers?

the cooler is fine because if it was really at 154 degrees it wouldnt work like it does
