I usually post my mods in the OCAU forums but I thought I would post it here as well. It includes Bit-Techs wicked rheobus design. Link to PCDB listing This is my first modded case (and entry) and I only learnt how to solder two weeks ago. I am pretty proud of my efforts. Any feedback would be appreciated.
I must admit it is a factory window. But I liked it's style, The case suited my purposes and if the price is right, why not use it?
That's fine, but you MUST alter it somehow. Etch it, cut it, paint it, do something to it... you have a pretty start, now make it YOURS.
Good point. I know I have not done anything ascetically to the case. This is my first mod though. I have a lasercut design and a couple of other things in the pipeline at the moment, just gotta save up the $$$ do complete the project cause it's not going to be cheep (custom box made from 3mm aircraft alloy). Thanks all for your feed back. Appreciated.
Thanks ZapWizard (your fine reputation proceeds you). They were my first ever electronic circuits and there are four of them throughout the box.
Dude, I got one of those cases, it's gonna be my summer modding project, gotta cut my teeth on something me thinks Those cases are good at the price though, very good quality and not a jagged edge anywhere
These cases are VERY popular down here in OZ. Very good quality for the price and it was an excellent case to break my teath on.
