Windows XP cannot delete some files

    I use windows XP Pro. When i do to delete some of my old photoshop files a window pops up saying they are being used by another program. I try restarting, but that does not work. Does anyone else have this problem, and does anyone know how I can fix it?

    ive run into this prob (mostily with divx movies)...ive allways found a restart fixed the prob....but that obviousily doesent work for you.....another winxp quirk

    I had this!

    I had this exact problem on my NT 4 machine! The only problem was that it would not go away for ages. Good luck solving tat one :confused:

    dayyyyum... ages? I woulda formatted if it took that long. Probably would take a lot less time.
