Ok, so I think I'm addicted to these things. As you may have seen from all of my previous builds, I am a bit of a Lian Li fan. Anyway, I impuse-bought a little lian-li off a chap on here, and it wasnt even going to be water cooled - just wanted the case. I then got him to do me a deal on a rad along with the case, to do a dirt cheap WC install.. Then I bought a new graphics card, and a motherboard, and doubled my ram, then bought a new res+pump, and a new hard drive.. So, from start to finish (in literally a few hours): Start with a pile of bits: Start to work out how it's going to fit in.. Panic a bit about the lack of space.. Go for it anyway Get the loop in place.. Fill it up, test, and fit everything else. Hard to get a clear pic of the lack of wires as everything is black. so, now it's sat under my desk purring away. I don't have a fan controller anymore, so the fans are a bit loud, but the temps are very low and I'm fairly happy with the air flow, for now. I'll get some more pics later with the side on (which has a tinted window). Cheers for looking. a
dont know why there are so many A05's recently but they are dam nice! surprised the 4870X2 fits! rep!
There is so many a05's good thing we all like looking at them SFF is the new "in" thing it seems. good thing i love em.
Props for having the A05! Nice to see you take the plunge to put everything inside, it's a very tight squeeze indeed. Subscribed!
Quick update. My fans were too loud, so I ordered a couple of fan controllers. They were horrid silver. So, I decided to mount them in my case.. pics show the process (notice the silver bits where I managed to ruin the case a bit.. sigh) Not bad little units, heat sinks and everything.. -al
Can a case that supports a full ATX motherboards and all this coolness really be called SFF? I like it. john
