Hey..I was wondering what everyone's IQ here. I'd expect some high IQ's since most people here have more than general knowledge of mathematics and applications...but I'd like to know how you all stack up... This site was linked my MSN..so don't hate me for pop-ups..and that you have to give an email to get results.. http://www.emode.com/tests/uiq/ I got a 129..I don't know if that's good or bad or anything though.. (also..if there's a better place for free IQ tests..let me know..)
we've all taken this online test in one way or another, at one time or another, more often than we'd like. I dont think many of us are willing to spend the time to go through yet another - just dig up the old 'What is your IQ' thread(s). do a search for IQ or somesuch.
Soo.... loong... Anyway, I got a 129. I did an IQ test at the university once (as part of a research project, I even got money for it). It was a couple of years ago, but the IQ dudes said that my results were even better than those of an adult. (And in September they are going to scan my brain in one of those MR machines )

Why are they doing that, Bard? I got 133 . Some of the questions are a bit strange. The one's I wasn't sure on were: 11. If some Wicks are Slicks, and some Slicks are Snicks, then some Wicks are definitely Snicks. The statement is: 22. The pure and simple truth is rarely pure and never ________. 29. It is easier to _______________ than to offer a helping hand. and a couple of the picture matching one's were weird. Does anyone know what the answers to the above were?
The first one's definatly not true. I was wondering if it was False or impossible to tell. The question is: If some of A are B and some of B are C then some of A are definatley C. I say that's False. If some of B are C then that means that there are some B's that are not C. The A's which are B could all be the B's that are not C and so it might be that there are no A's which are also C. I just thought that was too complex for most people so False is still probably the wrong answer.
Actually, yeah it's False. If it some of A are C its true. But its not definite, so the statement is false.
Tried the online test at http://www.iqtest.com and got 144 But dunno how accurate their test is....??? @ Smilodon, here are the definitions that the site gives for IQ levels... "100 The average IQ Score. 120 Smart enough to finish most college undergraduate level courses. 130 Entry level "genius" score. 140 Definitely genius level. 150 Less than 1/2 of 1% of all IQ test takers achieve this score or higher. "
arrrghhhh! Talking about intelligence sux! i dont wanna find out my IQ cos im a idiot! Plus when they give u tricky questions my brain sorta malfunctions n smoke starts comming out my ears!
