    Firts of all Hi y'all!!
I've been lurking for quite some time now, and thought I could start my first post in here so here goes:

That's just after the holidays, got a couple of systems going up. Seems christmas was happier for some :D

That's now all cleaned up and (mostly) tidy.

Ok so in a nut shell; 20.1"W LG, Sharp 19", Eclipse KB, MX Laser, Cheap Creatives 5.1 Spk
Old a** Desk, but hey, they mad stuff to last back in the days.. Plain black Chieftek Full tower.

Now I just got time to start playing around with the top of the desk, have my mind set to inlay some 1/4" plate glass in there.

    Hope you guys digg.!:D

nah those early IBM keyboards are amazing! the clack of the keys makes me type faster. If RSI hadn't driven me to more ergonomic keyboards I would still be using one. Also PS/2 usese alot less inteupts than usb so the old IBM keyboards are less reasource sucking!

Is the Samsung 22incher the 225 or 226 model?! I'm looking at the new 22 model myself, time to get rid of the ''old'' 19 incher.

Also Nice Headcrab stuffie you got there...:hehe:

I have that Samsung Monitor, when you zoom the image it looks like it says "226BW"
I love the monitor except I regret getting the Dell one seen in Mankz or '91's setup.

You keep your paws off my headcrab. the Samsung is the newer 22", its the 226BW. However, I think they might have an even newer panel out. 226CW? or something like that.

Ah, I thought you were saying you wished you got the 226Bw over the E248.. They were also the two I was comparing..

In my case, I deal directly with various parts distributors, which gives me direct discounts on most of the stuff I buy (got my 3870 for ~160$ CDN including taxes), and since I'm the IT guy at the company I run with my partner, I get to "test" all the future stuff that's going in our workstations, so I normally go for upper-midrange/high end stuff, just to be up to date with the current technologies

I just need to find the time to play around with the new systems, 'cause normally it'll sit there for a while before I can get them up and running, and I end up being 1/2 generation behind all the time... Oh well.

Also what's up with all those G15 KBs?! I mean unless you take the time to use the extra features etc, aren't those on the expensive side for some gimmicky KB (not trying to put the product down by any means BTW)?!

Summer work and £10 a month from allowance.

It was £305 delivered from OcUK at the beggining of Jan, but the price has dropped now..
