Well I got a new car about a month ago now.
It is a 2003 Mazda Protege LX with moonroof and trim.
If you have never driven one, they are a blast to drive.

Of course I have tons of ideas for modding the car.

The full list in on my website:
    http://www.zapwizard.com/Car/
There are actualy no performance mods in the mix just yet, but I already love the power this car has anyways.

I have three mods on my list done so far:

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Disabling the door-open chime.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Power Windows always on.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Disabling the automatic A/C - Defrost.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

And two more cool shots of the car:

Not really a fan of the car. Looks a bit, hmm, Japanese

The "Temperature controlled moon-roof tilt" is a good idea though. Maybe control the fan/heater controls in the car for proper thermostatic operation?

Haha, can you not leave anything alone?

Why are sun roofs called moon roofs over the pond?
What made you choose that particular car, i'd imagine you to drive around in a delorean or something lol

I have no idea why it's called a moonroof, I used to call them sunroof's also.
My wife had a 2000 Protege that I drove after we got married, and I fell in love with the car.
(That and I can afford it too)

well moon roofs u cant open but sun roofs u can and moon roofs are not tinted in glass. Thats what i know about it.

I am not a big fan of the car either but im shure you will be able to do allot to it. (turbos on your list? or dare I say supercharger?)

The way I've understood it is that a sunroof is a glass panel that simply hinges open, where a moonroof is powered and slides back into the roof. With a moonroof, you get a completely open area when it's open, instead of just a gap.

Back to the project at hand, it looks great so far. If you accomplish half of what you had on your to-do list, it's gonna be killer :D

i've known moonroofs as the spots with teh fabric panelling, and sunroofs not having one at all

as with a moonroof you can block out the sun, but a sunroof you can't...

You know the warranty's gone when you start sawing thing off!
You have a lot more guts than me, I prefer to leave expensive new things...alone :D
Good job on your mods so far though, even if you are crazy :p
