Because it's a high end enthusiast arena developed after the advent of the internet (well, in a none DIY sense) that has dedicated forums and lots free articles and advice from experts online. Books are not required. All the information/help you could ever want is out there on the internet.
Seriously though are we being trolled? I mean, I never ever want to be mean to anyone on BT because christ knows I've done/asked/said a whole lot of stupid things. Unlike this chap though, I realise I'm talking out of my arse when everyone replies telling me so.
I don't think we are sadly. I also try not to be mean to people who are genuinely asking for advice, I only get annoyed when someone ignores the advice they are given by people who clearly know what they are talking about (not including myself in that category yet!).
I just... can't let a little bit of rage out otherwise it will result in... The Gush (don't think I can post a link as it is borderline NSFW but you can find it on Youtube: Blue Jam, The Gush).
Why would there be? 1) It would be no more than a pamphlet. 4 double sided A4 pages max. 2) The target demographic for such a book, would not use a book, but another research medium - the internet. I've seen some of your other posts - why do you never respond to any valid comments made? TSB EDIT: LOL, I can't believe I glazed over this bit: It's purely an aesthetic feature. Yes it brings lower temps, but when air cooling also keeps the components within specification, it's absolutely a luxury item. No regulation/intervention required - what a nonsense.
Watercooling should be mainstream. Thus it has to be brought to the forefront, don't you think? Aircooling has done it with books and courses and made computing to mean de facto aircooling. The biggest need for 'cooling' in the consumer market are the gamers and status-seekers and I believe all other computer users are being ignored and being given to aircooling. Participating on this forum here there are some in the gaming and status-seekers group I feel that do not want to universalise watercooling and they criticise and say derogatory non-streetwise expressions which are lying and false alleging. I feel as if they want only the gamers and status-seekers to get the attention even if it means all other computer users are ignored to the extent that the majority have to compromise themselves with aircooling.
Sorry. Well before I go, OP please at least check this out for your next forum endeavours. Sincerely, TSB EDIT: Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Aircooling is not a compromise! It represents optimum price/performance!. To make an analogy, what you're saying is everyone should have (the awesome) naturally aspirated 6.2 Litre V8 Merc AMG engine regardless of their car or needs. It's ridiculous!
You guys are way too wound up on the internet. No one makes you read this thread, if you don't like it just don't read it. I don't read anything in the General Forum for that very reason
But it's spamming the forums, it makes the place look untidy. People have been banned for such things. And hey, the Hate thread is in the general section and it's not spa.....oh wait.......
With just a hint of humor... Seriously though YouTube is better than any book will ever be for water cooling. And water-cooling wil never become mainstream as processors at stock (mainstream) speeds don't need to look good or be ridiculously cooled Hope this answers your "question"
Intel's cooling solution for SB-E is a self-contained system like an H50. Pics in the SB-E gallery here on Bit. BD may be as well. Eat it, air cooling!
Imo watercooling (where you build ityourself) is never going to become mainstream Closed loop watercooling however... Just look at this. Intel are releasing their own closed loop watercooling: http://www.techpowerup.com/152042/I...ater-Cooling-Solution-for-Sandy-Bridge-E.html Definitely potential for mainstream when Intel is doing it
