According the F@H stats page the PS3s alone are 955 teraflops, with a total of 1.2 petaflops available.

 

Oh, it's probably "dur" to most ppl here, but if you only have it running on one core, and not all that high, switch CPU usage to prioritize background tasks in control panel>system. Mine is now using 100%/99% of my two cores respectively, as opposed to 80% of one.

Hey, better late than never.

Anyone know how to set the darn thing as screensaver? The screensaver options are grayed out for me on the configure panel.

Hmmm strange I can't see why it wouldn't work. Mind you, I always use the console version.

 

Just got myself on the team after running a 1.3Ghz G4 on my own for about a year, got that at about 12 hours a day and a pair of AMD X2 4000+ cores on the case now.

Will be interesting once the 3xxx ATI GPU version gets released.

Is anyone else having trouble with the Windows SMP version not receiving WU's?

Stopped using this because it screws up a lot of my games. Large number of full-screen apps minimize on start-up if you have F@H running in the systray, so I don't bother now.

 

loaded it up onto my 2 slackware linux PCs. 1ghz and 1.8ghz. now i got 3 PCs running it.

got it going on my 2900XT

 

Got a noisy coil on my graphics card and the GPU2 client is driving me mad. As does its immense lack of an interface... MUST POWER THROUGH!

GPU client is awesome.

Runs units in approx 25% of the time my CPU takes, without taxing the 2900XT enough to change it off the standard '2d desktop speed setting' for it's fan

In short i can leave it running always with no difference to if my PC was idle Cheesecake

 

Lol I haven't been doing this for about a year probably. And I'm still number 24

sorry to bump this thread, but i think it should be sticki-fied.

just started folding a few days ago, and have joined Bittech currently have 11k points according to this. only doing folding at night using 8800GTX, so it's quite impressive that i can be the 2nd highest donor on Bittech in the last 7 days point with just a 8 hour folding (see this)

can i transfer my work to bittech team?

everyone should fold, at least everyone with a good graphics card. Bittech team needs a kick on the backside. and let's taking the team's ranking into 300.

How do you fold with your GPU? I do fold, but since my re-install of windows on both my machines, it's not been installed. Naughty me

a 177 driver, i use modded INI of nVidia official 177.41. you can try 177.35, apparently they fold the fastest.
Download GPU2 folding client and you are good to go
