I did some more few things, not many cause of the lack of time. I disassembled the case completely, to paint some parts and to do the switch mod and the holes for the water cooling tubes.

Lets begin with the switch. I cut out the usb panel and I also cut a small piece of acrylic for the switches:

I painted that with fluorescent orange spray and finished that with some varnish:

I soldered and sleeved the switches:

Here they are finished. I made a design which I will follow to the rest of the top. I also "pumped" the switches with some channel molding!

Here I did a small mod for the tubings to pass from behind.
First I installed the rad, to see where the tubings are going to pass through.

After I marked the points on a piece of acrylic I cut the case:

Does it fit there? Oh yes! :)

    And some paint and varnish

    And a friend....

And some parts of the case painted... the fan is just an experiment! :p

Did you try asking AC Ryan? Or are there any car tuning shops where you live?

40 layers!!!! :jawdrop: on each panel?

What i like is your 'do it with what i have laying about' approach.
    The true modding spirit.

I really like this mod, i cant wait to see the finished artwork, cause lets face it, this isnt a case its friggin Art!

Thanks buddy! Yes to achieve durability + final result you need 40 layers. 20 in 7 days and the rest in 2. When u apply the last 10 ( one after another in quick movements) you start sculpting your design. Afterwards you apply 5 coats of varnish! And yes my friend I wanted to do something based on art! You got it! (only one side panel, the other... window !)

One more update with my work so far. The side panel wasted my time but I managed to do some other things the same time. I painted all the case screws black mat with a finish of 3 layers of varnish.

I also cut the top panel for the second rad which I 'll use for the gpu.

....forget the old spinners I made for the fans. I painted the Lian Li's fans and I bought 2 spinners which I painted them black and glued them with some epoxy.

And I also cut the aluminum from the 2 front fans :)

    More soon!

Here is the work i've done on the side panels.
    First some wet sanding!

And I also cut the left side panel to install the window!

Primer on both side panels (3 layers)

    Some black mat!

And here is how is apply the technique. (First I paint with primer, then orange fluorescent, then black and so on for 40 layers)

Until I am done with the side panel I will design a sun out of acrylic for the panel

    Your painting skillz are crazy!

I never drink near my PC, but if I did, there'd be Sierra Mist all over the place! :D

I draw some flames on Corel and my friend Chris Kozis cut them on his CNC machines, to use them on the other side panel!
