If the scratches are not too deep you can polish/ buff them out using toothpaste. The abrasive action polishes out the scratches from the old plastic Mac cases. I used toothpaste to polish my iBook and it came out nice and shiny and only the deepest scratches remained Other products such as glass polish or Brasso (metal polish) are also known to work, but perhaps test them on a scrap piece first.
Thanks for your advices, the products you mention above "glass polish or Brasso ", can I find them in a car shop ? I will test this, but yet I'm not sure to really want conserve the original design of the case ! Will see !
