Look at the 120mm+ fans. The first one on the list is that Xcilio orange LED fan- £2.30, I had one, they're extremely quiet and do push some air.
Edit: saw the new pictures now, I agree, it taking a nice shape now, thew grills look great!

It's not a Jeff mod without a foot :thumb:

The design of those grilles is going very art-deco there mate. Is that intentional or a happy accident?

Or just completely unintended and wont look anything of the like by the end? lol

It wasn't intentional, but looking at it now I can see what you mean. So in future if any one asks, I'll say thats where I drew my inspiration from...lol

And the truth actually is, that it's a tall case any way. The idea being to accentuate it with the design of the front panel and the long slots. Same with the doors, cutting the center section away and smoothing every thing just makes them look taller. It also gives a much cleaner look.

Hey Joe, all good here mate. How are you keeping. Glad you like it so far mate. I've been hankering after one of these cases for ages mate. It's the one I've always really wanted to mod. I've still got a long way to go with it. Loads of bit still to make. Getting the front done was always going to be the hardest part, so it should be reasonably straight forward from now on.

I'm off work next week so I'm hoping to get loads done.

What I try to do when I'm modding is get as much stuff as I can before I start then just get stuck into it. How is that beasty of yours coming along?

I've tried replacing some of the steel with thinner stuff, I know we joked about it being heavy but seriously I couldn't pick it up lol ...serious misjudgment by me that, I should know better being the fact I work with steel every day :hehe:

    Lol you should really:D

I stripped about 10lb out of this thing, now it's all slowly going back on again. It weighed about 40lb in it's standard form.

Sod it, I'm gonna have I go at it tomoz, I've been too lazy with mine always saying I'll do it tomorrow an it just don't happen! I'm taking a leaf out of your book pal, tomorrow I'll be pissing the neighbors off with the sound of my jigsaw carving through metal ...they deserve it after making my ears bleed with their hiphop & rnb music over the bankholiday! :thumb:
