Picked up a logitech G5 for $30 CAD, about $25 US. Regularly $90, I couldn't pass up the sale.

Intended to replace my aging G7 who's batteries are dying more and more frequently.

Yeah, got £1550 refund from Dixons and then bought it again from play at £1350, So got £200 back. Still cant believe it droped £200 in 6-7 weeks.

Didnt re-buy from Dixons because their after sales are pants, Tried to report the fault and they wanted be to take my theatre kit into currys for testing, and not the TV. On the phone they were telling me my TV is not broken when I was telling them it was. Called Samsung, no probs engineers came out and stripped my TV down in my living room and didnt have the right part. So after 28 days with it on order, samsung cancelled the repair as they dont know when they will get a motherboard in stock. They issued a credit note to force Dixons to refund me.

Matrix Trilogy 10 x DVD boxset is only £15 on HMV website

Use Anit-vibration Gell mounts on the fans and the psu if your going for the silent approach. Also try and replace the 120mm fans that come stock with the case as they are far too loud but do throw up some serious airflow.

the quality its ****ing awesome as is it's weight.

    My list

    One weeks food shopping
    4 C sized battery's
    14 B&H Gold
    Forza Motorsport2

My sister found that it was cheaper for her to get laser surgery at Specsavers in Bluewater then keep buying glasses, cost her something like £2000 for the pair, but after 10 years she'll have saved money.

Except the process has to be redone every 15-20 years IIRC, and no-one yet knows the long term effects of having it done.

Count yourself lucky tbh, I ended up £160 down for just a single pair and nothing else.

Already got a monopod and tripod. Going to take the monopod due to space and weight saving.
