Case Mod - In Progress Project : Infinity CM Stacker (Reservoir 100% complete)

Here is my design for my Dual 120mm radiator fan grill, its actually the logo for the Infinity Car sound.

So im off to go and cut it now.

Ok so KB came around and froze my cutting time, which means i would have been done by now, lol jks anyway.

A whole day has almost gone by and im finished the dual rad grill. Eish my fingers after some pins and needles and hour and a half of filing im done. And dam i missed lunch, so im eating Cereal. lol

Ok here we are from start to finish....:

Program used was Freehand MX10, print the design out and stuck it down will pritt .....has another spoon fill of cereal... ok here this pic



Clamped it down with a piece of alli over it to i wouldnt clamp off the paper design. And here ive cut the first hole



Ok so after friends had come and gone. I finally got to this.... As you can see closely some of those corner got a bit wide when cutting, thats becoz i had to put a new disk on.



Ok so now i start filing this grill, .....filing filing filing,,,, and now i got to this point....



Used some 1000grit water paper to get rid of any final not smoothen edges...



And then i thought i would polish it with some braso to see how it look kinda if i were to polish it proper.....



Hope you guys like me Radiator grill. Still gotta make another two grills... eish

Hey guys, I was suppose to do more than i did today, but ag, was doing other crap.

Ok so ive got my HDD's mounted nicely inside.

And the front Bezel Yea got that in aswell, Perfect i must add, well to my satisfaction at least. Ok Im gonna let the pics tell you what ive done and what ive done to mount the front Bezel

When i have the front bezel in again (properly coz as the pics show, i only had 4 brackets in for the bexel), im gonna have to make new holoes for the DVD-RW... Um and dam its gonna be a mission once ive got this stuff in. Because then i gotta get the motherboard tray in, and then bolt that down... Modding Cheesecake i suppose.

Yea for sure, the drives i find vertical have a better cooling aid that if they were horizontal. Keep an eye out for this mod..

Oh and the title addition about the rugby: My bf is from SA originally and he was teasing today about digging up his old SA rugby jersey to wear into university tomorrow. I told him he was evil. ;P

 

Anyway, heres something small i did today, wasnt really ampt to do much but did somin.

Got the DVD rom mounted into, made new holes etc. and then also made the pump inlet and outlet holes.

Pics to follow.

I know that holes looks siff, im gonna clean it up, even tho you not gonna see it with the cover on...





The dvd rom cover isnt on yet, but to give you the idea. Im gonna rather use double sided tape instead of two allen cap screws, or i might see how i feel. Or i do it later.

What you think of this Rad grill, i like this logo better than the other one, I am not feeling the other rad grill, but this one i am in love with....let me know guys

 

i like it dude,kinda reminds me of spiderman....lol

 

dont really like it in the model pic you did but looking at it on the case i would definately say its way better
