You know what I hate? people shooting rockets at me. Know what I really hate? using vats on someone, hitting them in the face, not killing them, and watching in slo-mo while they shoot another rocket at me.
Androids? Plasma rifles? Radioscorps? Slow-motion rockets? Why don't I own this game yet? Oh yeah...because of far cry 2 and its 50 square kilometers of soulsucking endlessness. Bah.
meh the ending sucks. The spoilers below are about the ending so be warned. Spoiler I completed the game and if i enter the chamber i dont get an option to use/don't use the virus from the enclave so the ending seems to indicate i poisoned everyone. If i get the woman to enter the chamber the ending says she provided clean water to everyone and saved the capitol wasteland and i'm a cowardly weasel for not getting in the chamber. Also why cant you send in fawkes as he is immune to radiation so you can play on?
Stay behind the big angry robot, otherwise you're in the Enclave's line of fire, and too close to any about-to-explode cars dotted along the path Having a nice ranged weapon helps too. There's nothing that a Plasma Rifle can't put down (especially if your Energy Weapons skill is high). Use VATS often to target multiple enemies at once.
Heh, I only figured that trick out at the end of the game. targeting more than one enemy or the same enemy more than once in vats. saved me some time. against the last 10 enemys anyway.
No, but I did in everyone in Megaton right before I blew it up on one of my play throughs....similarly I did the same for Tenpenny Tower on another. Anyone ever try to take on Rivet City? I suspect that would be a bit harder.
Hmm, I kinda want to do that. Take on Rivet City. I'm a walking armory so it shouldn't be too difficult now.
Does anyone know if there's a way to do the Paradise Falls quest you get at Little Lamplight if you've managed to bypass the offer through a Speech result? I'm finishing up all of the Quests and it's one of the few I haven't done. Which sucks. I've probably got an old save though, thinking about it!
I do too as I too am a walking armory with 193 stimpaks(lots of laser rife, laser pistol, and scrap metal turn ins). Haha. It just a good thing ammo doesn't weigh you down. My character wouldn't be able to walk!
Paradise falls is where the slavers have the kids from little lamplight right? If it is then I found it before I found little lamplight and was able to pick up the quest there. I just went in with guns blazing.
Ah cool. I thought I'd only be able to do the Strictly Business quest now... Which I think I'll save for another time, just to get the Achievement. Whereas bribing my way in, getting the quest and gunning down slavers sounds like good fun right now. Cheers
