Sorry to hear about your issues. I hate it when RL interferes with modding.

Thanks AP. I saw that on the Danger Den website a week or so ago..
They say the X38/X48/X58 are the same.. They are not. Well not the Foxconn X58 mount..
the distance between the mounting holes on the Danger Den block are 70mm x 50mm My Foxconn measures 50mm x 50mm.. Perhaps the Foxconn uses a non-reference bolt-pattern on there X58 northbridge not sure (I hope not).. Anyone know? This type of stuff happens when your dealing with a new-product..

hey MS, I do think it is a new block: your X48 block has a top with 8 holes in it (one for x38, one for x48). However, that new block has a different layout: it has 4 slots. I think they made it for X58, but turned the holes into slots to make it backwards-compatible with the old chipsets.

Question: do stinger make chipset waterblocks? A miniature version of your cpu block would look great :D

I asked Fred Stinger about making a northbridge waterblock, he was not very receptive..:waah:
In-fact, I have not heard back from him about the 1366-mounting brackets I need for the stinger I have.. I have not "pressed the issue".. The Holidays are hectic-times for most people. I thought it would be best to just wait.. But, with that said.. I need those 1366-mounts..
Performance-PCs has the new EkWaterBlocks X58 north/south waterblock in stock.. I am all but-sure it will work on my Foxconn-Renaissance MB. I need to email Hank and have him send me one..

No "hammer-time" party for me.. In fact, I worked on da-machine..

I would guess I did about a "good" four hours work and shot countless pictures.. I will sort them out and post them up ASAP..
    Happy 2009 People.. :thumb:

    Thanks Guys..
Still attempting to get Fred Stinger
to make me the needed LGA1366 mounting brackets for the cpu-block. I am also trying to get him to do a matching X58 northbridge block for me.. Keep your finger's crossed..
    Mine are..
The front panel is super-simple, very spartan.. Just what I want.. The cover for the DVD drive will be the same. Blue acrylic to fit the hole, but I need the cash for a blu-ray burner to bolt the acrylic to.. (they are about $300US)..
Next update will be more of "work with what you-got".. Power supply install and motherboard tray mod.. :dremel: the first (and third) mock-up pictures also show just a bit of a second Aqua-Computer acrylic aquatube reservoir mounted in the 80mm exhaust fan-hole.. A work in progress.. More water = more good..

    LOL
More water = more good can be my next sign :)
As usual good work, even I'm a little bit confused : blue acrylic and copper?
I must see this combination before speak ...
Interesting wb, I don't know this producer, but I haven't found the price, are they expensive?
BTW, I'm in love with this :

    Ybris®-One EVO, I must have one :)

Glad to see you back on the bit-forums rig.. How have you been..
    Yep, very-dark blue. This shot
    [IMG]
    is very (color) accurate.. BLACK....
    Water Blocks.. Fred Stinger
    just emailed me-back.. Great news!!
the LGA1366 mounts are in the works.. and.. a one-off X58 northbridge waterblock will happen..
all copper to match the CPU stinger.. I need to send him the northbridge-end of Foxconn's heatpipe for a template (and, wait for it.. MONEY)..
I am exited, I hope you are as well..

The Ybris gear is all the way-cool.. Italian watercooling..:thumb:
The German's have real competition with this stuff.. The only problem is that very-few people know they even exist.. With any luck this thread can (start) to change that

    Ybris-Cooling
click, order a waterblock and change the world-order..
