Flexible morality, flexible! It's all about who's doing it. If one person pirates something, it has no impact, and they are not stealing. If everybody pirates the same thing and it runs the company into the ground, they're all stealing. The bottom line: do it if it won't have any effect on the developers and industry. If it will and does, you're a criminal. Categorical imperative be damned...
I cant believe the amount of people trying to justify theft. Theft is wrong and you deserve what you get when they coming knocking.
Noone's trying to justify theft as far as I can see. Copyright infringement on the other hand is something several people have tried to justify.
