    New shoes. Current ones were falling apart a little so finally bought something new.

    Time to see if I still remember how to solder properly

    EDIT: In hindsight, I should have bought some helping hands as well.

    Managed to get it done, shame my hands shake like mad when I'm trying to do precise work. They're fine usually, but put a pen/brush/soldering iron in my hand and it's like I've got Parkinson's in an earthquake. Maybe it's just the length of whatever I'm using exaggerates any shaking and then I try and compensate and make it worse.

    Oh well, one airsoft gun and one battery fitted with deans connectors. Just waiting for my charger and battery bag now.

    I'm very tempted to get back into airsoft. I'm kinda put off by the VCR bill and the effort required for skirmishing. Really want to swap my TM AEG for something else. Might look into fabbing a GBB AR clone from scratch.

    It only takes 3 games at once site to become a member of it and get your exemption from the VCRA. After that you only need to go once a year.

    Good luck with that. GBB fab. is hard, hard, work. It's been attempted multiple times, and every time it's just died.

    It'd be easier to get a cheap Asahi or something..
